Geometry and vector to be excluded from college entrance exams in 2021

Pann: Subject that will be excluded from college entrance exams in 2 years

1. [+124, -1] This is serious. It goes against the generation of 4th industrial revolution. Do you think this is the only one? The prep classes for math/science olympiad are also forced to study according to the public education. Our country is very tiny but we sweep awards at the international competitions, so we invest a lot into elite education. However, taking out geometry and vector will result in students doing bad in the competitions. The industrial revolution aside, we won't even be able to catch up on university math. We can already tell differences in knowledge with sunbaes. How are they going to do group projects and assignments? This is such a dumb decision only aiming to be welcomed by science students. They must think universities will change their curriculums but big universities will make special admissions to those who studied geometry and vector privately. This will result in more advantages for science high schools which will result in biased employment. It's not something to praise.

2. [+73, -0] What? Really? I hated studying it in high school but I think it's a really necessary subject.

3. [+70, -1] I'm 100% sure they'll revert it back.

4. [+38, -0] They should think about reviving liberal arts subjects, why are they killing science subjects instead ㅋㅋ

5. [+36, -0] I guess the kids of high-class families are bad at geometry and vector ㅋㅋ

6. [+28, -1] They're trying to make students dumb. The high school students must be celebrating it since they have to study less ㅋㅋㅋ It's no different from the government turning their citizens into loyal dogs...

7. [+27, -0] They took out geometry and vector and included trigonometric function ㅋㅋㅋㅋ What the hell is this?

8. [+25, -0] Geometry and vector in 2020, not in 2021, and in 2022. What kind of a joke is this?

9. [+19, -0] The government must be planning to make the students ignorant. How can they exclude things that are the most important in math? How are the students supposed to continue math in university?

10. [+14, -0] What's the point of physics without vector?
